The circle proceeds from love for God to love for the brethren to obedience to God and, finally, back to love for God, each of the concepts being defined by the one which precedes it. The second circle demonstrates movement round the circle in the opposite direction which concludes that each concept can be rightly defined by reference to each of the other two.
